About Me

I am a warm, genuine and compassionate Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering telephone/video-based high quality short and long-term counselling and psychotherapy. I also offer Email Counselling and Song Therapy.

I have worked in the field of mental health/psychology for over 20 years in various settings. I have extensive experience of offering 1-1 therapy; running therapy groups; working therapeutically for the NHS in a GP Practice; working in an NHS-based specialist Community Eating Disorder Service for several years; as well as counselling for a third sector London Counselling Service. I now work in private practice.

I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, a  Postgraduate Certificate in Psychological Wellbeing Practice (based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and have completed a Master Practitioner Programme in Eating Disorders and Obesity. I am also a trained Animal Assisted Therapist and a performing artist and writer, which has made my style creative and narrative focused.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP); a member of The Song Therapy Network and Complimentary Health Professionals (CHP); and am an Affiliate Professional Network Member of the National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCFED) where I have access to high quality supervision and training.
